Read a book "The Last Lecture"

I read a book "The Last Lecture"by Randy Pausch today. The author was a professor in the computer science department of CMU and he had diagnosed as a terminal pancreas cancer. He gave last lecture in CMU about how he'd achieved his early dreams. He insisted earnest, hard-works, and not giving-up is very important in achieving goals. He actually said
Brick walls are there for a reason : they let us prove how badly we want things
I was really moved by his lecture. After watched the movie I got to believe everything should be possible if  I have a passion.

I know him because I watched YouTube videos about his last lecture 2 years ago. This book shares much  stuff with the lecture videos but many episodes in the book are new for me.  I guess those who watch the movie many times can enjoy this books greatly also.

Now the next conference deadline is steadily approaching. It is in the middle of January and I have only 1 and half month. I feel a bit tense; it is common when the deadline is close. All I have to do is work hard to manage with the deadline.
